About This Course
DTP stands for Desktop publishing. In simple terms, DTP deals with designing, creating and editing documents using page layout software on personal computers (desktops) or computer system. DTP primarily deals with the creation of print publications. More recently, DTP is also involved in the creation of different types of online content.
Take-Away Skills
The DTP operator takes care of aspects such as – typography, layout of the document (form) and printing the document. DTP is not just limited to editing, creating and printing documents. It also involves printing things such as – banners, business cards, circulars, notices, sign-boards, packaging materials etc.
